Quarterly read

The Notice Report

What gave notice in Melbourne commercial property this quarter.

What it is

The Notice Report is a short quarterly read on what gave notice in Melbourne commercial property. It is built from public data, and every source is cited.

Each edition names three signals that came early: what happened, where it was public and when. Then what they meant for owners and agents, the numbers behind them, and one question for the next quarter.

What’s in it

The report runs to four pages.

  1. What gave notice. Three signals that came early this quarter. For each one: what happened, the public source and its date, and when it was public.
  2. What they meant. Two short paragraphs per signal, for owners and agents, in plain words. No forecasts presented as facts.
  3. The numbers. Vacancy, yields and the cash rate, each with its source and date. Every figure is cited under the table.
  4. One question for next quarter. The question the next edition will try to answer, and where its data will come from.

Sources

Every figure has its source and date printed under it. If we can’t source it, it isn’t in the report. No view is presented as fact, and no one is named beyond what the source says.
